Julie Lewerenz, Au.D.
Julie Lewerenz, Au.D. was born and raised in Tampa, FL and is excited to be practicing in her hometown. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of South Florida (USF). She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology. She enjoys giving back to her alma mater as a clinical preceptor for graduate students at USF pursuing their doctorate degree in audiology. In her spare time, she also enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, and relaxing at the beach.
Jennifer Miller, Au.D.
Dr. Miller was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She attended the University of South Florida and earned her Master’s Degree in 1996 and then attended the University of Florida to become a Doctor of Audiology. She has specialized in geriatric, adult and pediatric hearing evaluations and advanced digital hearing aid fitting/ aural rehabilitation in a medical setting for 9 years. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and has been certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Dr. Miller focuses on developing a customized approach to meeting each patient’s individual hearing needs. She is married with 2 daughters and enjoys family time when not helping patients.
Amy Charrier, Au.D.
Amy Charrier, Au.D. is originally from Central Maine, and relocated to the Tampa area in 2000. She attended the University of Massachusetts and earned her Master’s Degree in 1999 and then later went on to receive her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry & Audiology in 2007. Dr. Charrier enjoys working with the geriatric and adult populations specializing in hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings and rehabilitative counseling. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and has been certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Dr. Charrier is married and has a son and a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, going to the beach and traveling.
Sierra MacDonald, Au.D.
Dr. MacDonald grew up in the shark’s tooth capital of the world, Venice, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in 1998 and later graduated with a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of South Florida in 2002. Dr. MacDonald returned to the Tampa Bay area in 2009 after working in Washington State for 6 years. Her focus is geriatric and adult hearing diagnostics, hearing aids, tinnitus and dizziness disorders. Dr. MacDonald has a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. In her down time, she enjoys going to concerts and movies with family and friends. She also loves everything “Gators”.
Heather Riikonen, Au.D.
Dr. Rikonen grew up in a military family and traveled throughout the United States and Europe as a child. She joined the Air Force before attending the University of South Florida to earn her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 1998. She later attended the University of Florida to earn her Doctorate of Audiology in 2008. Dr. Riikonen specializes in hearing loss and tinnitus, and has a wide range of experience with many audiological issues. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. When not in the clinic, Dr. Riikonen enjoys going to the beach, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
Craig Spandau, Au.D.
Dr. Spandau was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University, and obtained his doctorate in audiology from the University of South Florida. He is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology, and specializes in the diagnosis and management of hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, and vestibular disorders. He utilizes patient-centered care to create treatment plans incorporating the latest in hearing research, technologies, and counseling tailored to suit each person individually. In his free time he enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the Tampa Bay area.
